Our Mission
To provide genuine, transparent, evidence-based, personalised and accessible treatments and care to individuals suffering from sexual health problems, all of that delivered by qualified healthcare professionals.
UnTaboo wasn't born in a boardroom, an incubator, or a startup pitch deck. It began over dinner at a renowned sexologist's home in Mumbai — and one phone call changed everything.
The plates were set. Conversations flowing. Then the doctor received a call. He stood up, looked concerned, and said just one sentence before leaving the table:
“That man attempted suicide.”
Suicide? Why? Because the patient was suffering from Erectile Dysfunction.
That night, we, the founders of UnTaboo, couldn't sleep. Like most people, we had assumed sexual health problems were relatively straightforward — a prescription, a pill, a quick fix. How could it actually make someone even think of committing suicide, let alone attempting it?
We started reading, researching about this subject, and spoke to few professionals. And discovered something far more troubling.
What shocked us even more was what happened when we looked for solutions.
To understand the reality of sexual healthcare in India, we enrolled ourselves in psychosexual medicine programs, studied the field extensively, and went on a month-long research trip — visiting clinics across entire NCR and Punjab as undercover patients.
What we witnessed was deeply concerning.
The further we investigated, the clearer the pattern became. Patients were vulnerable. And vulnerability was often being monetized.
We expected modern health-tech startups to be different. Some were. Many weren't.
We noticed that a large portion of the conversation in the industry revolved around growth metrics, customer acquisition, valuations, branding, and marketing tactics. Far less attention seemed to be given to a simple question: “Is the patient actually getting better?”
Healthcare is not just a customer acquisition problem. It is a human problem. And sexual health is one of the most emotionally sensitive areas of healthcare. We believed patients deserved more than good marketing — they deserved good treatments and care.
UnTaboo was built with a vision to ensure that every individual suffering from sexual health problems, anywhere in the world, finds a trusted abode for recovery, healing, and treatment.
Our mission is simple: to provide genuine, transparent, evidence-based, personalised and accessible treatments and care to individuals suffering from sexual health problems, all of that delivered by qualified healthcare professionals.
No Myths
No Quick Fixes
No fear-based selling
No fake treatments
Just healthcare — personalised for every patient. The way it should be.
To provide genuine, transparent, evidence-based, personalised and accessible treatments and care to individuals suffering from sexual health problems, all of that delivered by qualified healthcare professionals.
To ensure that every individual suffering from sexual health problems, anywhere in the world, finds a trusted abode for recovery, healing, and treatment.
We believe that sustainable improvement requires understanding the root cause of a problem rather than simply managing symptoms. Our clinical philosophy is built on five principles:
Every recommendation is supported by science, clinical experience, and patient-specific assessment.
A treatment plan begins only after understanding the underlying cause.
Sexual health concerns deserve the same confidentiality and professionalism as any other condition.
Real recovery often requires medical, psychological, lifestyle, nutritional, and behavioural interventions.
Clinical decisions are guided by patient welfare — not by sales targets.
